Vintage hues for Margaret from Karina Dresses

You know when you find a dress you absolutely love, that you just must have it in every colour? Well for me, thats the Margaret dress from Karina Dresses. I reviewed this gorgeous dress not too long ago in its Navy and white tropical print and I honestly fell in love with the length and cut of this dress, so when I saw it also came in a vintage floral I knew it had to be mine!

Flowers ~ Blue Penelope Peony Double from Daisy Jean Floral Designs
Earrings ~ Agatha's Orbs in gloss mint from Daisy Jean Floral Designs
Necklace ~ Blue beads from Debstar Designs
Brooch ~ Flamboyant Flamingo Brooch from Jubly Umph
Dress ~ Margaret Dress in Vintage Floral Print from Karina Dresses
Shoes ~ Betty Sandals from Royal Vintage Shoes
As I'm sure many of you have noticed, I've been a bit quieter than usual on my blog space. As such its sadly taken me longer than I'd wanted to get this dress up on my blog for you all! For those who don't follow my Instagram (which you totally should!) I've been in the process of moving house! This stunning garden is part of my new apartment complex and I'm absolutely excited to explore new places to take ootd photos and blog photos for you all!!

But....back to this amazing dress! For those who aren't familiar with Karina dresses you are totally missing out. As someone with heat sensitive skin, this brand was an absolute godsend during the incredibly hot summer we had here in Australia late last year and earlier this year. They are an incredibly comfortable fit, the fabric breathes and they look incredible on with and without shape wear. They don't feature any zips or buttons, you simply pull them on and off, which I find does incredible things for ones silhouette (zips on me can sometimes bunch above my butt).

Things that for me make the Margaret dress so wonderful. It features a built in sash, which is perfect for cinching in the waist. Its length is also longer than my other Karina Dresses that I own and I find it makes it more 1940's than some of my other cuts of dress and perfect for wear without a petticoat. The vintage floral print is truly so gorgeous! Mixing blue and green hues together against a dark dark background, this dress will easily cross from the winter cooler months (i normally wear it with a slip to add warmth) to the coming summer months as well. I wear the M/L and its more the adequate with the stretch for a comfortable fit.

Around the same time I got sent this dress, UK brand What Katie Did released blue and green back seamed stockings and I must admit, when I ordered both colours I had absolutely NO idea what I'd wear them with. I've actually come to adore teaming this dress with both the green and the blue (blue pictured here). I find they add an extra pop of colour and really help tie the look together.

I accessories this look with a blue Penelope peony double from the Daisy Jean's Spring release and teal and blue accents. A pop of pink and blue thanks to my flamboyant Flamingo brooch from Jubly Umph was a fun addition to this look too. Along with my stockings and my gorgeous betty sandals from Royal Vintage Shoes, this outfit is a gorgeous 1940's look that I can wear out on a weekend or to work.

The Margaret Dress from Karina Dresses retails for $108USD ($142AUD) and they ship worldwide. As an owner of around 5 Karina Dresses now I can definitely vouch for their comfort, fit and versatility with styling!

I hope you've all enjoyed this blog post darlings and its so so good to be back doing what I love!

Til next time!
