Hola Chica Kitty Top in Mango Review & ootd - Sunday 18th January 2015

I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday! 

So a big part of why I wanted this blog was to review the items I purchase and love for you so I figured I'd better get on that!

I was fortunate enough recently to win a top as a prize in an instagram give away from the Australian brand Hola Chica Clothing and I am SO excited to review that gorgeous item for you all today!!

The first thing I noticed about this top when I got it home to have a look at it was the incredible structure! The zip is set starting part way up the back, which leaves you with a nice flat front. The straps are wide enough to offer support and not cut into your shoulders which is always wonderful!

I also found that it gave me great shape and support in the bust which is always a great advantage to any top! I wore this top on one of Sydney's super hot days recently and found it comfortable in the sweltering hot! It wasn't too constricting or hold in too much body heat which was great. The V shape on the back allowed for a slight breeze on my shoulders which was nice at the time. I've also loved experimenting with a color thats outside my normal comfort zone!

Outfit of the day - Saturday 17th January 2015

Hi all!! 

I forgot to post this yesterday as I went out last night so didn't get time to share it with you all! 

I went out with a group of friends to a bar last night and had a great time! And I looked fabulous too!

So I went tiki tastic last night! I love this dress SO much! It was my second ever pin up girl clothing purchase and it started the tiki love affair! I've always struggled to find hair pieces to match so after making a different piece for the same dress recently, I decided to make my own. 

I also went with my black skull necklace from Debstar designs to break the bold colours! The shoes were perfect for this outfit as they are wooden based carved with tiki gods!!! I mean how awesome! 

I had a great night and got A LOT of compliments which was wonderful!

Outfit of the day - Friday 16th January 2015

Afternoon all!

I was hoping it would cool down enough to actually wear something other than my bathing suit but as that doesn't appear to be the case I figured I'd just share this swimsuit with you all anyway!

So this is what I've been lounging around the house in all day, dreaming on warm sand and surf! This was my first ever pinup style bikini and is still a much loved favorite. The bottoms aren't too tight, which I found an issue and they sat higher than most giving you a nice silhouette. In hindsight I should have got the top the next size down but its still wearable. 

As its HOT in Sydney I accessorised my daydream beach look with a broad brim hat, sunglasses and comfortable wedges!

I was going to do my first Frisky Friday post today but I honestly cannot face putting undergarments on in this heat, so will leave it for next week!
